The people who are a lot overweight, like forty pounds or more, need a significantly different type of diet plan, than someone who only needs to lose five pounds. If you are one of the many obese people in this world, starting a diet too extreme could be dangerous, so see a doctor first.
This would also make a lot of sense if you have been sick recently. It will be easier to find the right plan, if you are totally sure of your goals, before you get started. The way you have eaten, has gotten you to where you are at, so you will have to change your habits for long-term results. Choosing a diet, if you are serious, is a lifetime commitment, and not some simple thing.

You will never survive on a diet that is a vegan diet, if you like having meat and seafood, so there is no reason to try that type of diet. If you try a diet, which is based on foods you don’t like, such as cabbage, how long do you think you will last on it. The only type of diet for you will be one where you enjoy the food, and you get enough so that you won’t go out and sneak more.
