If you are coming from the A22, take the exit at Bressanone and follow the directions to Brunico, San Candido, and Passo Monte Croce Comelico

If you are coming from the A23, take the exit at Carnia and follow the directions for Tolmezzo, Villa Santina, Sappada, Santo Stefano di Cadore and Comelico Superiore

If you are coming from the A27, take an exit at Pian di Vedoia and follow the directions to Pieve di Cadore, Santo Stefano and Comelico Superiore

If you are already in the area: at km.104 of S.S.52 Carnica take a right if you are coming from Padola or a left if you are coming from Passo Monte Croce Comelico and follow the path for about 6 Km: you will first reach Malga Coltrondo, continue for a couple of minutes by car and you will reach Rifugio Rinfreddo.
